Our Safety & Health Policy

Our Safety Policy ...

Parent ID Card An ID card is issued to all parents. You are expected to carry the ID card when you come to collect the child. Besides parents, drivers, maids or relatives are also allowed to collect the child on producing the I Card, provided the school has been informed before hand.

Our Health Policy ...

1. Parents may not send children to school when any of the following symptoms are present :

a. A fever of 100 degrees or higher (un-medicated)

b. Appearing ill / unwell despite having no fever.

c. Rashes unless approved by their physician and accompanied by a note saying it is not contagious.

d. Persistent cough

e. Diarrhea or vomiting

f. Disease or infestation

g. Colored mucus

h. Head lice

i. Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

2. The child is welcome when he has only a mild cold (e.g. runny nose or mild cough), but is able to participate in the day's activities.

3. Please contact the school and report to the School head if any communicable diseases (including head lice) that your child has contracted so the school can take extra precautions to ensure they are not spread. All information will be held in the strictest confidence.

4. Please do not request that a child remain indoors. If your child is too ill to go outside with us, he or she is too ill to be at school.

5. Educators & Facilitators will monitor each child's condition daily. If a child develops any of the above symptoms, illness, or infestation while at the school, the staff will isolate the child from the other children and will notify the parents immediately. The parent or guardian must pick their child from the school within 30 minutes
